WHAT IS ANDRIOD PAY???

Andriod pay is a service which allows users to pay for goods online using their phones, in the absence of credit cards and physical cash.

The andriod pay app stores your credit cards, debit cards, loyalty cards e.t.c.
It kicked off in the us September 11 2015 ,kicked off in the uk 18 May 2016, Singapore July 28 2016, Australia July 14 2016.

HOW DOES IT WORK

•First you will need to download the andriod pay app from the Google play store. It's only available in countries that support andriod pay.

•In the app Add a credit or debit card.If you already have a card in your Google account, you can add it to Android Pay by confirming a few details. If you're adding a new card from any participating bank, snap a picture via the app

•3. Simply unlock your phone and tap to use Android Pay at any contactless payment terminal. And the payment process is complete, it works via NFC (near field connection)

you can make payments under £30 without having to unlock your phone, just tap and go as the screen is on. For payments higher than that authentication is needed.

WHICH DEVICES ARE COMPATIBLE?

All andriod device use the 4.4kitkat version and upwards ,as long as the device supports NFC. 
Andriod pay doesn't require a fingerprint  reader,  because not all phones posses finger print readers. But andriod pay supports pin locks and pattern to access it.

WHICH BANKS SUPPORTS IT

Andriod Pay works with your credit and debit cards from the following US financial institutions: American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. These cards are issued by the following US banks and credit unions: American Express, Bank of America, Discover, Navy Federal Credit Union, PNC, Regions Bank, USAA, US Bank, Citi, Wells Fargo, and Capital One.
